The top picture is my original photograph, I used the tutorial to crop and re-size my image in order to make it more appealing as well as make the file size smaller. I really enjoyed this tutorial because I didn't have to wait as long for the photos to upload because the file size was smaller. I also enjoyed learning more about Photoshop and its tools.
Again, the top picture is my original photo. For this photograph I liked the top image better, I think because it is already cropped in pretty tight and it gives you a better idea of what you are looking at. I liked this photo because of the contrast between the oranges and the blue vase that was holding them.

Great color in both your pictures! The first cropped picture seems to loose the detail in the plant. The second cropped picture is interesting because you have the texture on the oranges and the texture on the vase. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteOooo I am really liking the photo of the oranges in the blue glass bowl. The use of complimentary colors is really pleasing to the eye and I just love the rippling lines that the glass bowl creates on the fabric underneath. Out of the two the less cropped one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI also really like the oranges picture. It is so crisp and also I just like the colors of blue and orange and how they contrast each other in the picture. I also like the picture of the leaf and how you can see on the resized close-up the little hairs on it...
ReplyDeleteI like the way you cropped both photos. Cropping the first photo put the main focus of the photo into perspective along with using the rule of thirds technique. Cropping the second photo allows your main focus to be on the oranges rather than the blue vase. Nice job on your photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat subject choices. I really like the oranges in the blue bowl. The cropped shot really show so much more detail.
