This photo was taken in Queens. It was kinda foggy and dark out and but I think that's what makes this photo cool.

This was taken on the 7-train ( Also in Queens, NY). I edited it  after to add more contrast to make it more appealing.

This photo is personally my favorite out of all five. It was taken at Robert Moses Beach in Long Island. I think the color came out really neat and it was a good use of the rule of thirds

This photo was also taken at Robert Moses Beach. The lighthouse in the background is kind of hard to see--but it is there.  I liked the way the clouds blend in with the field.
Another photo taken at Robert Moses beach. I don't know if anyone has heard about the  recent serial killer in Long Island, but the dunes to the left are actually where they found a lot of the bodies. Anyway, I liked the way the color turned out on this photo.

  2. All great shots. My favorite one is the "7-train" . The variety and composition of lines is awesome. I like how it seems the city is asleep. Not the easiest thing to capture!

  3. Great photos man, that second seven train shot is incredible. Coming from vermont I always view the city with more contrast than in reality so this is perfect to me. It casts shadows onto anything that inst directly in the light, this photo/cities always make me think of a jungle. So little of the space is taking all the attention/light.

  4. I really like the fourth photo with the lighthouse in the background. To me, the clouds do not look like clouds, they look like they could be the ocean. The grass creates an interesting line in this picture.

  5. Awesome! Im jealous that you have the city and the ocean to photograph. I like how all of these have a particularly lonely, hazy, feeling. Nice use of monochromatic color as well as subdued colors. Also I like the creepy fact about the last photo.
